Ron Chantung is the Senior Director of Operations for Societal CDMO (San Diego). Since joining Societal in March 2023, Ron has worked alongside talented teams responsible for the commercial and clinical production of sterile and non-sterile therapeutics. Before joining Societal™ CDMO, Ron worked as the Director of Drug Product Manufacturing at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services. He has over 22 years of research & development, early phase through commercial drug substance and drug product GMP manufacturing. Ron holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and surfing reef breaks in Encinitas, CA.

Madeline brings over 15 years of experience across interdisciplinary environments, including clinical, entrepreneurial, and CDMO settings. As Business Development Director at Societal™, Madeline is responsible for new business creation and relationship development across the US West for the parenteral drug product development and manufacturing market.

Before Societal, Madeline held consulting, business development, proposal management and entrepreneurial roles supporting development and manufacturing for biologics and small molecules. She also held operational and patient-facing roles in the clinical space.

Madeline holds a Bachelor’s in Organismal Biology, a Master’s in Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from UCLA.
